Known as "Sunny Leith", the Proclaimers wrote a song about it! Next thing you know there's a musical written around the Proclaimers music!!!
I have seen this show by the Dundee Rep Theatre group several times before but each time it's different!
A hard hitting true grit story of real life, could be set anywhere but it's set in Leith & makes reference to many of the local landmarks!
If you're not a Leither you might not get them, but it won't detract in any way from this well written & extremely well acted gem of a show!
There is both laughter & tears as you go through real life situations with each and every one of the true to life characters!
If it comes to a theatre near you go see it!!
Hi, Thanks for popping in today. I hope you enjoy your visit to my little crafty corner of the universe. Don't forget to leave a little love, while you're here & I'll pop over to your blog and do the same!

It's been a quick year! I know there have been ups and downs for her along the way but it has been a real success from my point of view! Thanks & congratulations Sammy!!!
As well as the website there is a wonderful forum full of lovely ladies who are always around to cheer you up, celebrate, commiserate or generally just have a natter too!
There is a monthly card making competition which offers generous prizes, in the form of vouchers to spend on the website. Every entry gets a newly designed freebie too so it's a win win situation!
"Ah yes!", I here you say "but what was so different about the party??"
Well the difference was, this party was a "cyber party"! For those of you who have never been to one I can well recommend it! All the fun of a normal party without the clearing up!!! Well, maybe the moderator might want to re read a few posts just to check! lol!!!!!
Well I'm off in search of something for my head!!! lol
Have a great Sunday all and thanks to all who attended the party & helped to make it a great night!!! You know who you are!!!

Finally A Card!
I've been so busy, I've not had a chance to do much in the crafty line lately!
I finally got round to making a card, for my nieces birthday, which I had to post off today!
I apologise for the quality of the pics as I broke the screen on my camera phone
while I was on holiday and I'm using my old one which is not soo good!
The weather here is really dull too, so that didn't help either!
Anyhoo on to the card!
The image I usesd was a freebie from Cuddly Buddly as far as I can remember!
I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out with my Nesties, Label 5.
I then matted it onto some cardstock from my stash, which I had cut with my
Nesties and embossed with Swiss Dots
I used a computer generated sentiment, which I rounded off with a corner punch
& matted on to the same cardstock as the image.
The backing papers are from a bumper pack that I bought ages ago,
I think they were from Do Crafts
I thought thet went well with the colours!
To finish off I added some punched out flourishes.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Top Tip Tuesday #4 Recycling
An oldie but a goodie in this quickie post!
Rather than go to the expense of buying low tack tape just use regular sticky tape
which has already been used (recycling) or stick it to your clothes to pick up a few fibres
until it's a bit less sticky!
Use to pick up peel offs, rub over with an embossing tool or similar to pick up and then apply to your project in the same manner.
Great for positive & negative images(recycling waste)!
I have used this for many different different things!
Make sure you stop by Top Tip Tuesday to see all the other great crafting tips!
You may also have one of your own you'd like to share!
Anniversary Easel card!
Hi all, soooo sorry I've been neglecting you.
I've been trying to get up to date on all my cards, housework etc and get ready for a trip to Majorca!
I had to make two anniversary cards for last weekend & was in such a rush,
I forgot to take a pic of one before posting it off!
I did however get some pics of the one I made for my Sis & BIL!
I have entered it in the September Comp over at
Cardmaking Downloads where Sammy gives a newly designed freebie download just for entering
& very generous prizes in the form of vouchers for
you even get to chose which site you want the voucher for or you can split it between them!
You must use a download, papers, graphics from either one of the websites.
There are all sort of styles, designs, clip art etc between both sites.
There's also just about time if you want to play along!
Anyway, enough of my prattling on!!! Here are the piccies!
After inking the edges with a promarker,I layered it up using pinflair glue & added some ribbon.
I also matted and layered a computer generated sentiment in a similar fashion
then added some ribbon & buttons!
I love these little heart buttons!
I have used it before for valentines but thought it would be good for this too!
My Sis certainly agreed when we hand delivered it on Saturday with the glue barely dry!!!
Oops forgot to mention I have also added it to the following challenges:Incy Wincy Challenge too! Anything goes!
Charisma Cardz Anything Goes
Before I forget I would like to welcome my latest followers
Thea & Decoromana
welcome to my blog, great to see you ladies!
You both have beautiful blogs!

The theme was TV or Movies and she asked for 4 ATCs
Here's a closer look
Bart Simpson my DH's fav.
I decoupaged this image (found on a wallpaper sample) which I've had around for a while!
I've had the film strip peel offs for ages too but just never knew quite what to do with them till now!
Scoobydoo, My BIL's fav
I made up party inviitations for my BIL & SIL using this image from the internet
they absolutely loved them so wanted to use it for this too!
Pink Panther, My SIL's fav!
Love his eyebrows!
Garfield I just love him!
Winnie & friends!
Thanks for looking, I hope you like them!
Hmmm wait a mo, did I count wrong???? lol!!!
Secondly the October swaps for Cardmaking Downloads Forum
This months theme is recycled!
I could have made loads on this theme but only needed three!
Here they are all ready to go in the envie to be posted off!
I tried to use as much recycled material as I could for these!
The base cards are a recycled birthday card from last year!
Here's a closer look
Crafting time, a recycled watch and the paper is the recycled insert from the card!
This is a recycled cycling map of our area.
I wasn't sure about this one but my OH thought it was great so I decided to keep it in!
We live top right as you look at it!
Used distress inks and whispers markers on it too!
Three little birds!
Again recycled birthday card from last year and a foam circle from Easter Bunnies.
Used chalks for the background and promarker for the shadow under the birds!
Took this pic just befoe I put them in the envie!
Can I see a little something extra there?????
