Good Morning all!
Happy New Year to you all!
Today is my first day back to work!
I think I might actually be looking forward to it, as we've been so flat out busy
getting the house all sorted out for our visitors on New Years Day!
Thankfully we got there in the end but hubby caught a bad case of man flu
which meant the bulk of the catering was left to me in the end!
He's back to work today too so I'm hoping he feels a bit better as he's
apparently going to be really busy!
On to my card!
I'm sorry the photo quality is a bit poor but the lighting wasn't good.
The image I have used is Petticoats Three from Just Inklined.
I had to make two 50th Birthday cards & I thought this image was
just perfect! The sentiment is I think from Linda @ Sentiments 4 You,
unfortunately, the blog page is closed for now!
The butterfly design paper is from my stash, I got it in a bundle & it was
packed away as soon as it arrived & I'm sorry I have no idea who it's by,
it was packaged in a plain cellophane wrapper.
The image & sentiment were both printed on to cream coloured card
& then distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink
The punched edge was created using my much loved
Martha Stewart Doily border punch. The edges of the paper were
inked with the Antique Linen also!
The fabulous flower was one I got ages ago from Lee, aka
Crafty Loops she sent me a big bundle of different types of her
wonderful handmade flowers. The edges of the flower were inked too!
The lovely leaf edging is from Dainty Paperie I've had it for ages but it too was
packed away as soon as it arrived & this is the first time I've been
able to use it! I love new toys! Don't you!
I made the inside of the card in a similar design to the outside!
Thanks for dropping in! I hope you enjoyed your visit!
I'd like to enter this little card in the following challenges!
