I wouldn't fancy walkies in that downpour! But........

here's a look at the other side!

Just Inklined with you!

This image is one of my absolute favourites, 

 Bassinette

So useful for boys or girls, I keep going back to it over & over again!

(shh, I didn't tell you this but you can purchase the CD Rom for the bargain price

of just $5, that's just over £3, at the moment)

The layout of my card was inspired by the fantasic sketch below

Here's closer look at the image, which I coloured with Prisma Pencils 

this time! These are new to me, so I have much to learn!

The papers I have used are Simply Fabulous - Maddi

from Making Memories aren't they just gorgeous!

The letters were cut using Sizzix First Steps Dies.

You can just about see I've decorated the inside of the card too!

Clean And Simple

Hi di hi all!

Yet another card from me!

This time it's my DT card for the curent challenge at

The Crafting Cafe

where this month's theme is

Clean & Simple

The image I have used is Daffodil from this months sponsor

 LEJ Designs

Lindsay's shop is closed for the moment so, the 

only way you can snag her lovely images is to win them or 

to find a freebie on the LEJ Designs Challenge Blog

I coloured the image with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers,

cut it out with a circle nestie then inked the edge with a

Cat's Eye liquid chalk inkpad.

The corners of the card were rounded with a woodware punch

& the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

The image & sentiment were both popped up on some foam pads!

Mamma's Sewing

Good morning all!

It's Thursday & it's time for my DT card for 

Just Inklined!

The image I have used today is called

Mamma's Sewing

This is one of the recent releases & I thought I was just  perfect

 for Mother's Day!

Here's a closer look at the image!

As you can see I added some stitching around the image!

Don't laugh, at my sewing, it's an old sewing machine that I was given &

 I'm still trying to figure out how it works!

Not sure where the DP is from, it's been in my stash  forever,

I think I must have got it in a candy giveaway.

I added some little fish tails & buttons as well as a little 

lace double bow onto which I sewed a button!

The buttons & lace have also been in my stash forever!

Dressing Up

Good Morning all!

Here I am with another card to share!

This one is made using the

Flippin Families CD Rom

This is Let's Dress Up.

 It reminds me of my sister & I when we were younger,

dressing up in mum's clothes & trying out her make up! lol!

The papers are from the CD Rom too.

For those of you who don't like to use CD's

I'm not sure if the design is available as a download or a pre printed

sheet just yet but I'm sure it will be at some point!

A closer look at the image. You can see the 

little die- cut coathangers & the doily in the background.

These have been in my stash forever & I'm glad they are now 

seeing the light of day!

Good morning all! Did you think I was lost? lol

It's Thursday & it's time for a card using a 

Just Inklined image!

Here it is!

This is Spinning Sid! 

I've used him to create a CAS card for a  senior Cyclist or Spinner!

 Here's a closer look at the image!

I just love creating cards with Kraft & muted colouring!

I've coloured Sid with flexmarkers, you can't see all the shading in the 

photo, as it is light but I'm happy that I achieved the look I was aiming for!

I inked the image with Old Paper Distress Ink, whilst still in the die then added 

some die cut cogs & a sprocket as well as a computer generated sentiment.

Here's a little side view just to finish up!

Spring into Spring

Good Morning all,

It's time for a brand new challenge over at 

Crafting For All Seasons where the theme is 

Spring into Spring

Our Sponsor this time is

Here's my creation

The image I have used is Spring Lambs from Just Inklined

I lightly coloured it with flexmarkers then cut out with a nestie

& inked with old paper distress ink.

The papers are pages from an old Complete works of Shakespeare book 

& are inked too although they already looked aged.

The flower was from my stash as was the seam binding.

You can see the card is open just a little to give you an idea 

how it works if you haven't seen one of these before!

Here's a look at the side with the card half open.

The card will fold flat for posting!

Here's it tied back up again.

I love this style of card, be they CAS or heavily embellished!

I reckon this would be a great thank you card for a man.
