Soldiers Generations

Hi everyone,

I have another card to share today!

This one was made for La Pashe

My card features the "Soldiers Generations" sheet from the

Something For Everyone CD-Rom

I love the two different camouflage papers which are also on the CD

Here's a closer look at the image, featuring soldiers through the ages.

The decoupage sheet is also available as a pre printed 

decoupage sheet or an instant download if you prefer.

I distressed the edges for some added dimension

I made a little map using a page from an old road atlas

& added some card candi & some magic mesh 

(which has been in my stash for years)!

Embossed Hearts Valentine

Hi everyone!

Happy Valentines Day to you all!

The card I have to share with you today, is a little Valentine card!

Well it had to be today didn't it!

This was such a simple card to make & it has been bouncing around

 in my head for absolutely ages! I'm so glad to finally get it out!

I used embossed linen cardstock from Southfield Stationers for the base.

I cut two little hears from some Design Paper that I got in Lidl.

The paper was part of a book & is double sided.

It already had little embossed lines with flecks of glitter in.

I covered the hearts with some clear Versamark ink then 

embossed with clear embossing powder, using my heat gun to melt.

I would have prefered to use UTEE but I don't have any so I 

repeated the process several times until I was happy.

The swirls panel is the linen embossed cs which I originally debossed

 then decided I didn't like it so used the reverse side.

I added my sentiment, which I created on my pc, at the top.

The card I have to share today is one of the cards I made for the 

Just Inklined Blog Hop

The image I've used is Trunk Love, one of the latest Love/Valentine image

Here is my card

Such a sweet little elephant!

I coloured him up with promarkers, cut him out in a square die & inked.

I matted the image on to some pink CS which I had edged with a

Martha Stewart Heart Border punch.

Here's a closer look at the image.

The papers I used were in my stash!

I've recently managed to find more on a facebook sale so am

happy to use these up!

The little flower was won in a candy draw,

I've had that for ages too!

As you can see in this photo I've also decorated the inside of the card!

Be Mine

Hi all,

 I just wanted to share with you again one of the cards I made for the

I didn't add much of a description so thought I'd do it today!

It's an easel card,

The lovely image is called Be Mine

Coloured with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers.

The ribbon is from my stash!

A little look from the side t show the fold!

The papers are by papermania.

The stop was decorated with hearts punched out using a Martha Stewart punch.

The flower was made by a blogger friend Lee (AKA Crafty Loops)

Here's my card!

I made a little rocker card, using a sponsor image.

This is Kitty Love from Meljen's Designs

Here's a closer look at the image which I coloured with promarkers,

cut out with a nestie then inked with Tumbled Glass distress ink.

The papers, ribbon & little heart & bead embellishments are from

Lidl.  The little heart button is from my stash. 

There was already a heart there on the image but I added 

the button as I wanted it to pop!

Here's my card!

 The pyramid decoupage & papers are from the lovely

Shawn Jenkins CD Rom

there are some really lovely designs on there!

I printed everything out on A5 paper & made an A6 gatefold card.

I added some sheer, heart ribbon & tied in a bow to hold the card closed.

I also added a couple of little buttons threaded with twine

I added a nested heart panel for the greeting to be written on!

The image was from the internet via a google search.

The layout was based on  a sketch I saw somewhere but I can't

for the life of me remember where! Lol

The DPs are by Papermania 

The sentiment was done on the pc.

A few little pieces of card candi added, just to balance it out!

which was decorated too!

One Image Two Cards

Good morning all & happy Thursday to you!

I hope you've had a good week so far! I've been busy as usual but today,

it's time for me to bring you a Just Inkined creation!

Actually, I have not just one but two cards to share!

I have used the image Scottish Thistle to make two different styles of simple 

quick & easy Thank You Cards.

The images were both coloured with flexmarkers & promarkers

This card is a tent style fold with one corner rounded using a Woodware corner punch.

The image was matted & layered onto mirror card & vellum.

A little tartan ribbon & bow were added.

The second image was treated in a very similar fashion but washi tape 

was used in place of ribbon making it totally flat!

A single embossed line was added around the A6 card to add interest.
