Awesome Give-away!

Good Morning all!

Exciting News!
I have another fantastic giveaway for you this week!

I have been lucky enough to have been given the chance to play with
which is a Digital Scrapbooking Software programme.
This software is so simple to use that even you techno-phobes out there
will have no trouble at all in making Scrapbook Page Layouts, Photo Books,
Cards,Videos & More, just let your imagination guide you!
I'm a real rookie at this sort of thing but,
I had a little play & here's what I came up with!

My niece & her fiance got married earlier this year & these pics are among
my favourites of the day! They are so natural!
The wedding took place in a ruined castle, we then went to
the beach for cocktails, before heading in to
the golf club for the reception!
This took hardly any time to create! Just minutes in fact & I'm not the
quickest person at picking these things up!
Too many other things going on in my head! lol
I haven't tried it as yet but you can use the digi papers & elements that you already have!
You're not just tied to those produced by the company!
(Athough it's a good excuse to go shopping!!! ,lol)
No need to worry if you're not experienced in these things as
Technical Support is never far away,
 should you ever need it!
There is a My Memories Facebook Page & a
My Memories Blog that you can also follow.
Both of these give hints, tips & tutorials as well as lots of Freebies!!!
We all love a freebie right?
If that's not enough for you they are on Twitter too! lol

If you'd like a chance to win this software, simply go to the
My Memories Website  pick out your favourite kit, layout or whatever,
come back & leave me a comment saying which is your fav!
If you follow the Blog or the Facebook Page, come back again,
& let me know for another chance

I will draw the winner on the afternoon of Sunday 4th December
If you can't possibly wait that long, you can visit the
website, & use my code below!
(copy & paste into the appropriate place to avoid mistakes)

STMMMS2864

This will give you an awesome $10 discount off of the software!
As well as getting $10 off when you buy the software,
you get another $10 voucher to spend on
whatever you fancy to get you started!
I haven't even spent my voucher yet as I've been playing with some of the
many wonderful freebies on the website! lol
The best news is that Version 3 of this software has just been released
so you will be getting the newly updated version of the software!
I can't begin to tell you how exciting I find that!
I wish you all good luck!
Here's another little page that I threw together, just some pics of
Edinburgh from a recent day out!

Hope to see you back with your comments soon!

3 is the Magic Number!

Good Morning all!
I have to say I almost forgot to do this post!
I've spent the last few days coughing & sneezing in no particular order
& my head has just been full of cotton wool! lol
Okay, so now that I have remembered!!!
we have a recipe for you!
The theme is a Recipe of 3's!
We'd like you to use 3 papers, 3 Buttons or Brads & 3 Ribbons
Our Sponsor this week is

The prize?
Yep, in keeping with the theme, 3 digi's of the winner's choice!
Here's my card!

The image I have used is Holly Mouse Hanging Stocking from
She's just adorable & she's on SALE for just 59p right now!
You can grab her & some of the other fabby Specials Here
I made my card with a 5" x5" card blank.
The DP's I have used are from Papermania.
Holly was coloured with Promarkers & for Health & Safety reasons,
I was careful that the fire was not lit while she was hanging her stocking!
I added some glittery accents but I'm not sure you can make
them out in the photo's
Holly was the mounted onto some mirror card.
I added 3 tabs of ribbon from my stash.

I added 3 snowflake brads which have been in my stash for years.
I also added a ribbon which I knotted with two other short lengths.

I tried to add some faux stitching around the edge of my card
by piercing then joining up the dots with a glitter pen.
Perhaps I should have used a darker pen as it doesn't seem to
show up very well in my photo's!
Thanks for stopping by & I hope you'll find some time to play with us at
The Crafty Pad this week!
Don't forget to stop by the Challenge Blog to see what the other

Good Morming all!
It's Wednesday & some of you will be expecting to see a Dude Time Doodles card!
I'm afraid it's a week off for the Dude's & Dudette's
so, I have another card to share with you instead!

The image is from The Crafty Pad Designs,
I used a red A6 card blank for the base.
To that I added a matt of red card which was embossed using a
Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder  then matted onto a
added a matt of green textured card then added a piece of ribbon
before attaching to the base.
The layout is a sketch

The image, cute little Santa that he is, was coloured with Promarkers
I fussy cut around him then matted onto some green textured card,
then some silver mirror card.
The corners were rounded with a corner punch.
I wrapped some silver & white fibres around then attached.

I then added a little ribbon bow & some Snowflakes which were cut with
a Marianne Creatable die. The  sentiment was computer generated
then matted & layered onto the green & silver card
I hope you like him!

Flower Fairy Birthday Card

Good evening all! I hope you're all well!
I made this card for my nieces birthday & I forgot to post it to my blog!
Before it disappears in to the ether I thought I'd let you have a little look at it!
The Flower Fairy image is from a die cut decoupage sheet.
Such a lovely image & my niece is into fairies in a big way!
It was also a refreshing change not to use promarkers! lol

The fab DP was part of a lovely candy I won as was the die cut oval!
I think the layout was from my minds eye.
I only had one sheet of that paper so I know I had to make it work! lol!
The pink mat was punched along the bottom edge with a Martha Stewart border punch.

The fairy was a perfect fit for the oval & I distressed the edges with an inkpad.

The sentiment was computer generated, sorry I can't recall which font I used!
I added a homemade posh pin, a double bow & a few self adhesive pearls!
Thanks for looking, I do hope you like what you see!
Don't forget there are only a few days left to enter my Candy Draw!
