Paper Piecing

Good morning all, it's Monday once again & time for this weeks fun new challenge
over at Eureka Stamps where the theme is
Here's my DT card!

As soon as I saw this theme, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!
I used one of the 4 images from the cube Digi 33301 Sunrise,
which I thought was just perfect.
I simply printed the image on to the yellow card stock & some green & brown paper
then cut out the different sections. Next, I matted & layered the image on to
green & brown card from my scap pile.
The Hello sentiment was cut three times
from the green & brown card then layered for added dimension.
I added some mesh & a couple of co-ordinating buttons & that's it!
I hope you can play along in the challenge this week!

I'd like to enter this card in a couple of challenges:

All You Need Is Love

Good Morning all!
I have an engagement card to share with you today!

This is for the team at work to give to another friend/colleague,
who recently got engaged! I think she's gradually coming back down to earth but
she was on Cloud 9 for quite some time it has to be said!
The background image is a colouring sheet by the lovely Teri Sherman.
She offered it as a freebie to members of her facebook group.
I used a Chameleon Pen to colour the hearts & added a bit of white accent.
(I left the rest blank as the young lady in question has an
adult colouring book & I knew she'd love the connection!)
The ribbon is from my stash & the hearts were cut using Sizzix Embosslits.
As a final touch, I addded a little heart button.

Here's a little view from the side too!
A few days after I made the card, I was asked to make a card to hold
a gift voucher. I made this from memory as I didn't have a photo of
the card at the time & I think I did quite well matching it up! lol

I forgot to add the white touches to the hearts before I took the photo,
so I had to go back & add that. To hold the gift voucher in place,
I added some photo corners to the inside.
I'm pleased to say it was well received !

This great little image is Digi 14303 (470) Party Poopers!

The "celebrate" is a Tattered Lace die.

My Funny Valentine

Good evening all!
I have a Valentine card to share with you!
This one was made for my hubby!

He never gets me anything for Valentines day but I have to say,
although he's not outwardly romantic, it's the little things that count!

I used an A6 Card base. Each layer of this card is sponged with some
liquid chalk ink & then popped up on foam tape for added dimension,
as I didn't need to worry about posting it!
The embossed CS was from Jelly Bean Crafts, I wrapped it with some
gingham ribbon from Lidl. Then added the heart panel!
The heart panel was cut using an X-Cut Filigree Heart die then backed
with some red CS from my scrap box, then  the die cuts inlaid.
Thanks for popping in!
I hope you like my little card!

Where Oh Where Has My Mojo Gone?

Good morning all! How are we today?
Good I hope!
Today's card is my  Eureka Stamps Challenge DT card.
The theme this week is

I've used the fab Digi 20601 Most Special Day for my project!
Now what's recycled, you may well ask........
Let me tell you, I tried three other projects & managed to muck them all up
in epic proportions. My mojo has clearly gone off on holiday!
I had almost given up, & was running out of precious time,
when I came across the sentiment, which was already printed for another project
but not used, I rescued as much cardstock as I could from my
failed projects & recycled it into this little CAS, white on white one.

The cardstock is Centura Pearl, I think it's oh so pretty!
I made an A6 base card & added the embossed panel.
The sentiment was diecut using a Spellbinders Curved Rectangle die,
then popped up on some foam tape for dimenion.
I added some tiny little self adhesive pearls from Meiflower.
I have to say I was actually quite pleased with the results in the end.
Hope you like it & I hope you can play in the Recycling challenge this week!

I'd like to enter this little card in a few challenges:

Add Some Sparkle

Good morning all!
It's Monday & time for the new challenge over at Eureka Stamps,
where this weeks theme is:
This post will be short as my 'puter is about to run out of battery.
The power cable is broken & I'm waiting for the new one to be delivered!
Eeeek!
On to my card........

I used digi 9702 Eureka Butterfly for my card.
I made a little easel card for a child. Using lot's of bright colours.
I coloured the image using my Sakura Glitter pens.
It's hard to capture the sparkle, but you may see it better below!

The sentiment ticket was in my folder of already printed images & sentiments
and has been there for a very long time!
I have no idea where it's from so if anyone recognises it let me know & then,
I can give credit for it!
I coloured the ticket with the pens too!
The gems are also from my stash.
Thanks for popping in, I hope you like my card & I hope
you can play in the challenge this week!

Engagement Card

Good morning all!
I have a card to share today!
It's not a great photo so I will apologise in advance!
I had to take the photo in a hurry & it was the best I could do!
Now, onto the card!

This one was for a friend/work colleague who got engaged over the Christmas break!
So nice to have some good news to celebrate!

I was doing a bit of blog hopping & saw this card
on Sara Davies blog & loved it, so decided to do my take on it!
The base card is 6"x6" Centura Pearl.
The sentiment was printed directly on to the card using a free font
 called Fiolex Girls
I added a mat of pink paper then added the squares.
I cut the heart shape out with a Spellbinders die, then backed with some dp from Lidl.
I used foam pads to pop up each of the squares.
The Love word is a Memory Box Die
Thanks for stopping by!

I made two cards because I was having so much fun!

I used the lovely image, Digi 14707 (514) Cascading Hearts
This is another of my faves!
If I'm honest, I smudged it the first time I coloured it & printed another,
however, I decided to use both anyway!
The images were both coloured with my Chameleon pens & I added
a touch of white using a Sakura Glaze pen.
The base of this card is 6"x6" red cs.
I've used up a lot of stash items on this one!
I added a mat of white paper & the DP which came from a gift wrapping kit I got in IKEA.
I've had it in my stash for a while but haven't used much of it.
The pin has been in my stash forever too, I added some beads, yes I've had them forever
