At The Seaside!

Happy Sunday Blogging Buddies!

It's time for Team A to inspire you over at

"At The Seaside"

Here's my card!

The image I have used is Girl Walking on the Beach.

A real stunner of an image!

I played with my Promarkers & Flexmarkers & coloured her up,

just to see where she would take me!
Which brings me to our second sponsor this week

Well worth playing for!

Not sure I did the best job with the sea but I was rather pleased

with the little crab! lol
It seems the little lady has gone to a Tropical Island!

For the layout I used the sketch from

The Deconstructed Sketch

I rotated it a quarter turn

I used an A5 card blank in pink for the base of my card.

I used a plain green paper to mat & the lush & beautiful DP's were

once again from a candy that I won ages ago &

I have no idea who they are by!

I used a Martha Stewart punch for the borders.

The buttons are from my stash & the ribbon is recycled from a gift!

I decorated the inside of the card just a little bit.

Fun In The Sun!

Morning Lovely Bloggers!

It's Wednesday & time for the latest challenge at

Dude Time Doodles

where the theme is "Fun In The Sun!"

here's my card!

I've used the lovely Fanny Beach image with

a cropped down, Downtown Delmar Disco!

I added the thought bubble & sentiment in my graphics programme.

The Design Paper was a freebie from Jak Heath

I used it to paper piece her bikini & hairband,

then added some shading with promarkers!

I'm not convinced Fanny is having as much fun as she should be!

She's on holiday far across the sea, celebrating Independence day

with her mates in Dudeville Hollow, just a short couple of weeks

after celebrating her first Wedding Anniversary with

Delmar & she's missing him terribly!

This time last year they were still on Honeymoon!

So she's sending him this little "Wish You Were Here" card!

As you can see from the inside I've used a green square card blank base!

I added a matt of yellow paper then the Design Paper.

A panel with the DP again & some ribbon & buttons from my stash!

Found some little fish bone charms in my stash so I added them too!

New Release Images & A Chance to win!

Good morning lovely bloggers!

Today is July New Release Day over at

The Crafty Pad Designs Store!

There's a whole new family of images papers & sentiments on release!

You could be in with a chance to win the entire set!
Read on!

The ladies of the DT have been having a play, hoping

to give you some inspiration & let you see how these new images might be used!

Here's what I made!

I have to confess this didn't quite work out the way I planned!

I came down with a yukky cold & Mr Mojo scarpered!

It's actually a stepper card base!

The design paper is from the matching set & is printed directly on to

the card base then I inked the edges.

The image I have used is Moorag with friends. I printed it out twice.

The images were coloured with a combination of Flexmarkers & Promarkers.

I then matted them on to some green cardstock, added a border of grass

which was die cut using a Marianne Creatables die.

I added some little punched daisies which I embossed for a bit of dimension

& added little yellow gems to the centres.

Lol! My original plan was for the sides of the card to look like

gate pillars, then add the sentiment like a sign over them!

It doesn't quite look like I saw it in my minds eye!

I then added the ribbon & daisy bunting with a bell either side

just to finish it off!

I decorated the rear of the card with a little panel to write on!

My Lovely Friends!

I'm a few minutes ahead of time as I have stuff to do!

Being such a friendly group, what other than

"Friendship" 

could possibly be the theme of the hop!

Here's my card!

I made a simple little A6 Gatefold card

The image I have used is Shelley Sheep & Twitter, a digi stamp

from The Crafty Pad Designs.

I have coloured it up using flexmarkers & promarkers

then added some Woodware Fluffy Stuff

which you heat emboss to puff it up!

The sentiment is part of the image but I cut it off & made two little panels

I think you'll agree the image & sentiment are simply perfect for the theme!

The card was made using mainly scraps.

My design paper was a single 6x6 sheet which was part of a 

candy I won ages ago & I'm sorry but I have 

no idea where it's from! I really wish I did as I love it!

The ribbon & pearls were from my stash!

I like to decorate the inside of my cards a little just to balance things!

As I was using up some scraps, the lilac card on the inside

 is a different texture to the one on the outside. 

To celebrate the hop & as I have made so many friends through blogging

as well as in the facebook group, I would like to offer a little surprise candy to

one lucky commenter. Not sure how I'll pick just yet but

I will announce the winner on Friday 6th July!

DTD New Release Blog Hop

Good morning lovely bloggers!

It's the 4th Wednesday of the month which means it's time for

The Dude Time Doodles New Release Blog Hop!

The image I have used is Silly Sam!

He's a clever cookie is he not!

I know how hard it is to ride a unicycle as I bought one for my

hubby a few years back.

He finally mastered it last year & he keeps the neighbours entertained

when he's out practising! lol

Actually, I'm really impressed, he's my Hero!

All of the new release images will be available in store from today!

The papers I have used are from the

Springtime collection at Scrapbookingmad

They gave me just the right Summery/Circus type look I was trying to find.

To tie in with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

The stepper card base was a template from Craftystash.

I added some hand made bunting & a few buttons from my stash.

The letters were die cut.

I decorated the inside of the card just a little to give it better balance.
